Day 1 : Surabaya – Malang
Upon arrival you will be met and greeted our guide then transfer to Malang and sight seeing the plantation in Lawang. Lunch is included. Stay overnight at Malang.
Day 2 : Malang – Ranupane
Breakfast at hotel. Malang city sight seeing bird/flower market. Lunch at local restaurant. The next drive further to Ranupane to marvelous countryside displaying terrace apple orchards, primal rain forest. After two hours drive, arrive at our basecamp, Ranupane (2,100 m). Overnight at Ranupane homestay.
Day 3 : Ranupane – Kalimati
After breakfast, trek trough graded trails amidst mountain shrubs and bushes for about 13 kms to reach the tranquility of Ranu Kumbolo (2,400) for lunch. After lunch continue trek goes on further to Kalimati (2,700 m), an open pasture providing the best plain to set up the tent as well as providing best place to see continual puffs jetting out from the venthole of Mt. Semeru.
Day 4 : Kalimati – Summit – Ranupane
Early morning start trekking to the summit (3,676 m). On the top highlighted by continual puffs and sometimes erruption jetting out from the venthole are the breathtaking rewards. Afterwards, descend back to basecamp (Kalimati) for breakfast and down to Ranu Kumbolo, have a simple lunch. And then go back to Ranupane.
Day 5 : Ranupane – Bromo
After a simple breakfast, taking a Jeep ride along the Tengger mountain ridge and down to the calderas crossing the sea of sand of Mt. Bromo (2,932 m). After 2 hours walk to the crater, taking a Jeep to Cemara Lawang for lunch and stay overnight.
Day 6 : Bromo – Ijen
Early wake up call, hiking further to the view point at Mt. Penanjakan. Providing the bird’s eye view of the whole national park with Mt. Semeru and Mt. Bromo stands high in its grandeur far in the background. After sunrise, go back to the hotel for breakfast and then transfer to Mt. Ijen. Lunch at local restaurant and stay overnight at guest house. Dinner is included.
Day 7: Ijen – Bali / Surabaya / Banyuwangi Port
After a simple breakfast, join Mt. Ijen (2,400 m) excursion. This volcano offers a pasture landscape, ruggedly beautiful panoramas, grand hiking, and a placid, brightly yellow crater-lake. At the summit of Mt. Ijen is a georgeous crater filled with haunting turquoise-blue lake with its surface streaked in the wind blow patterns if yellow sulfur vapor. At the down of crater lake edge there is an evil-smelling sulfur where local people digging and carrying 60-70 kgs on their bare shoulders for 2 miles ascending and descending steep Mt. Ijen wall. Then proceed to Ketapang and cross the strait of Bali by ferry and drive further to your hotel in Pemuteran or Lovina. Lunch is included.
